On October 31, Huobi Group announced that their exchange platform as a white-label service is now available in the Middle East and the North African (MENA) region.
According to the press release, online payment providers in the Middle East and North Africa can leverage Huobi’s infrastructure to offer cryptocurrency trading to their customers.
Huobi MENA office co-founder Mohit Davar shared that the launch is demand-driven, highlighting that the United Arab Emirates, for example, has shown “a great appetite” towards blockchain-powered technologies.
According to the company statement, in other regions Huobi Cloud has already helped to build more than 120 exchanges, including Huobi Russia, Huobi Indonesia, and Huobi Argentina.
As COIN360 reported earlier, Huobi also plans to launch a fiat-to-crypto gateway for the Turkish lira by the end of 2019.
