EURS, also known as Stratis EURS, is an EIP20 token developed to introduce delegated payments on the Ethereum network. EIP20 is a token standard which allows for the implementation API within smart contracts. EURS mirrors the value of the Euro for blockchain technology, it attempts to combine the benefits of the world's second most-traded currency with the efficiency, immutability and transparency of the blockchain. Stratis reports that all EURS coins are fully backed 1:1 by collateral reserves.
