3. Verifiable Action Approvals (VAA): Once a sufficient number of Guardians have signed the message, a Verifiable Action Approval (VAA) is generated. The VAA is essentially a cryptographic proof that the message has been validated by the Guardians.

4. Cross-Chain Transfer: The VAA is then sent to the target blockchain, where Wormhole’s smart contract on that chain processes it. The final step involves the target blockchain’s smart contract executing the action specified in the VAA to complete the cross-chain transfer.

The W token is the native token of the Wormhole platform. It is designed to facilitate various functions within the Wormhole network, including governance, transaction fees, and staking.
