Bitcoin dropped 9% from its all-time high amid signs of an "overheated" market, with Ether and other cryptocurrencies also experiencing declines. Over 533,330 addresses purchased Bitcoin above $70,180, now facing losses. Bitcoin advocate Samson Mow engages with Bitcoin ETFs, signaling a preference for direct BTC exposure, despite selling MicroStrategy shares, known for its significant Bitcoin holdings. Analysis suggests caution post-April halving, comparing current patterns to those leading to past corrections, highlighting the potential for a support level around $65,000 but warning of possible further declines. 

Meanwhile, concerns grow over Bitcoin falling below $65,000 and Ethereum below $3,000, with market volatility and decreased inflows into spot BTC ETFs contributing to downward pressure. Despite short-term bearish signals, long-term outlooks remain bullish, underscored by sustained interest in BTC call options, indicating optimism for Bitcoin's end-of-year performance.

Ethereum's Derivatives Market Remains Optimistic

Ethereum's derivatives market shows strength and optimism among traders, despite a 10% price drop in ETH, signaling continued confidence. The put-to-call volume ratio for ETH options favors calls, suggesting the bull market's resilience. Meanwhile, Grayscale amends its filing for converting its Ethereum Trust to a spot ETF, emphasizing the strong correlation between the CME ETH futures market and the spot Ethereum market. 

The update, highlighting a significant rise in assets under management to $11.8 billion, underlines Grayscale's argument for the necessity of an Ethereum ETF, with the Chief Legal Officer advocating for broad access and the filing suggesting a 26% chance of regulatory approval.

"Dogwifhat" Meme Sparks Ethereum vs. Solana NFT Feud

The "Dogwifhat" meme, featuring a Shiba Inu wearing a woven beanie, has sparked tensions between the dog's owners and the Solana community. The owners announced an NFT auction of the original photo of the dog, named Achi, on the Ethereum blockchain, partnering with Feisty DAO. The decision to mint the NFT on Ethereum instead of Solana, where the WIF meme coin resides, upset some members of the WIF community. Achi's owners faced criticism and pleas to collaborate with the WIF team, but they defended their choice, citing a previous negative experience with a meme coin project on Solana. 

Despite the success of the WIF meme coin, Achi's owners reportedly had not heard from anyone in the WIF community until recently. The current bid for the Achi NFT on Foundation, an Ethereum NFT platform, is over $182,000, highlighting the significant value associated with the original image. Path, a member of Feisty DAO, expressed willingness to consider minting the NFT on Solana if there is interest from the community. Ansem, a prominent member of the WIF community, was approached about purchasing the Achi NFT but showed no interest.

Arbitrum's "Atlas" Upgrade Cuts Transaction Costs

The recently activated Arbitrum ArbOS 20 upgrade, known as "Atlas," is set to reduce transaction costs on the Arbitrum network. Fee reductions will begin on March 18, with L1 posting fees and L2 base fees expected to decrease. Offchain Labs anticipates these changes will unlock new use cases and enhance the Ethereum ecosystem's adoption.  

NFPrompt Faces Major Security Breach

NFPrompt, a Binance Labs-incubated content generation platform, suffered a significant crypto security breach resulting in the loss of user and platform funds. The attackers compromised wallets, prompting NFPrompt to swiftly isolate the hackers, partner with security firms for tracking, and collaborate with the FBI. The NFP token's price dropped by 15% before recovering, now trading at $0.82.  

US Manufacturing Leans into Industrial Metaverse

The World Economic Forum reports a surge in US manufacturing firms embracing the industrial metaverse, with 92% of executives investigating its implementation. Automotive, energy, software, and aerospace are leading in metaverse investment. Key applications include digital twin technology and predictive forecasting to enhance efficiency and production cycles, though concerns about generative AI and intellectual property enforcement persist.
